1. Quotas
Apply quotas on storage to individual CDP Agents and groups of Agents (Volumes). Quotas can of course be oversold and don't trigger until the limit on space is actually reached.
2. Customer Self-Managed CDP
Optionally delegate full CDP administration to your customers. Give them permission over policy, restore, or just allow them to view the backup tasks and files so they have peace of mind your managed service is protecting their data. Administration can be delegated on a per Agent and per Volume (group of Agents) basis.
3. Easy Centralized License Management
We understand that churn might also apply to your data protection service. You never need a license key to install a CDP Agent on a customer server. All license management is centralized and licenses can be re-used for different customers.
4. Multi-Level Reselling
We understand its not uncommon to provide CDP backup services to a customer that is also a reseller. This is fully supported. Give permission for your customer to create their own users (customers) and manage their own storage space for their customers.
5. Resell Restore Services to Virtual Hosting Customers

6. Billing and Provisioning XML-RPC API
CDP Server 2.0 includes an XML-RPC API (Application Programmer Interface) that can be used to integrate provision and billing of CDP services into your billing, provisioning, and order system. XML-RPC is available from all popular programming languages on Windows and Linux including: .NET C#, ASP, Perl, PHP, Java, C/C++.

7. Linux Command Line Interface (CLI)
A set of open source Perl command line utilities is supplied that provides a fully functional example implementation of the XML-RPC API. Use these command line scripts to batch process billing and provisioning functions and as a functional example implementation of the XML-RPC API.
