Requirements for CDP Enterprise Edition 2.0 for Windows

This page lists the system requirements for both the Windows CDP Agent and Windows CDP Server.

Windows CDP Agent

This is the target or server you are protecting data on.

Windows CDP Server

Windows CDP Server, the server where you install the CDP Server software. This server provides the Web Interface and receives data form the CDP Agent over a TCP/IP network and this is where your recovery points are stored in a Disk Safe.

Cross-Platform Note: You can run the CDP Server software on Windows or Linux and provide CDP services for both Windows and Linux. See Linux CDP Server system requirements here.

Free Disk Space Disks and Volumes should be No More than 85% full to leave room for copy-on-write Volume Shadow Copy Service snapshot operations.
