CDP 4.0 Enterprise Edition builds on the new architecture in CDP 3.0 extending application awareness and adding user interface localization.  Upgrading from CDP 3.0 versions to 4.0 is seamless and fast.  Simply download the latest 4.0 installation package for your operating system and your CDP installation will be automatically upgraded.

Automatic MS SQL Server protection in Windows environments

Automatically protect MS SQL Server in your Windows Server environment with CDP Enterprise Edition. With the new Database Add-on, you can achieve fast SQL Server backups with an easy to use "push button" restore process.  This feature provides low impact to SQL Server performance while utilizing compression technology and with the available AES-256 Disk Safe Encryption.

The Database Add-on replaces the MySQL Add-on and can be used to protect MS SQL Server or MySQL databases.  Customers with existing MySQL Add-on licenses now have the flexibility to provision their existing licenses to protect either their MySQL or MS SQL Server databases.

Japanese and Spanish localization of CDP Server user interface

The CDP Server user interface is now localized for the Japanese and Spanish languages.  This increases accessibility and ease of use for Japanese and Spanish speaking customers.

New API Sample Scripts and Documentation

New API sample scripts and documentation have been added to CDP to help our customers more easily automate key features of CDP.

Multi-Volume snapshot for Windows

On Windows Agents there is a new advanced policy option "Multi-Volume Snapshot".  This option coordinates the snapshot across all disks selected for data protection at the same time.  This is recommended for MS SQL Server installations where data and log files reside on different disks.
