| Well we've been running this release for at least a few days now. We backup the servers hourly and it's been quite solid. |
OK - I have upgraded and the backups are in full swing. The first thing to notice is that without doing anything - the file list is working without having to build them!! Excelent work R1 Soft.
Second observation is that it is using less than HALF the memory footpring of CDP1.
Third observation is the search feature on the front page to search for servers and filter the list - plus the ability to show more than 10 servers per page. Very good stuff. |
| I'd have to say that the biggest thing was reducing the memory / removing the fixed limit on the number of concurrent backups. We used to just barley be able to get done in an hour. Now that we can run a lot more concurrent backups we easily finish in 20 - 30 minutes. |
I just installed it and updated agents. Now running 6 backups at once as well and it seems to be going nice.
Ohhh and no Make File List in the tasks list.... OHHHHHHHHH lol

| Well we were on 1 for about a week or so and even in that time 2 feels like a whole new product. We've been very impressed from day one by this software and now all I can say is damn, what's next? |
| We have six threads going right now with about 80MB of RAM usage and the backups are flying in. Not to mention you can't even tell the agents are running backups due to the amazing low load. - Thanks again R1Soft |
