BBS Technologies, Inc Acquires R1Soft
Extends Systems Management Capabilities with High Performance Backup for Linux and Windows Servers and MySQL databases

Houston, Texas (11/28/2008)—BBS Technologies, Inc. today announced the acquisition of R1Soft (www.r1soft.com), a leading provider of high performance backup and recovery solutions for Linux and Windows Servers and MySQL databases. The combination is a natural fit for both companies enabling BBS to strengthen its position in the Windows systems management market while positioning it for growth on the Linux platform, and enabling R1Soft to benefit from BBS Technologies’ strong distribution channel, support capabilities, and engineering resources.
