• Control Panel End-Users can log-in directly to the R1Soft CDP Web Interface using their own control panel site/ftp user credentials.  After a backup is performed, data is stored in a created Recovery Point.  There are three ways for control panel end users to restore or access their files: 
  • Restore selected files to their original location.
  • Download files to local computer and upload files via FTP to web site (control panel home).
  • Send a .tar or .zip file containing selected or all files to the control panel home directory.

1. Customer Self-Service Restores for Virtual Hosting

Once backups have been scheduled for the server by the hosting provider, control panel users can restore their files from CDP recovery points. 

2. Designed for High Density Servers - CDP synchronizations reduce backup windows from hours to minutes even on densely packed hosting servers.

3. Chroot Jail - Users are jailed into their control panel directory. File permissions and disk quotas are always enforced even on restored files.

4. Easy-To-Use - Control Panels users restore files using a Web Interface. They select the date/time to recover from. Files are restored directly into their site directory.

The Hosting Control Panel Integration only supports Control Panels running on Linux.  The Linux Agent must be installed where the Hosting Control Panel is hosted.
