R1Soft Announces Protection on Initial 1200 Windows Servers by Enterprise Windows Hosting Provider, Server Intellect

ORLANDO, Fla. (January 12, 2009)— Server Intellect, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with triple competency including Hosting Solutions, today announced the launch of R1Soft’s Continuous Data Protection® (CDP) across more than 1200 servers.  The robust CDP software brings Server Intellect clients, including Fortune 500 companies Wal-mart and American Express, a complete backup and recovery solution with block-level backups and specific file and folder restoration capabilities.

Server Intellect selected CDP as their backup solution for several essential features including open file backups and overall enhanced speed and reliability. Most importantly, CDP gives Server Intellect the ability to help centralize and streamline administration through the flexibility provided by the Service Provider API.

Recently named Most Reliable Windows Host by Netcraft, Server Intellect remains committed to providing the highest quality of data protection and has mounted CDP on every dedicated server, all including 20GB of backup space. All Shared Hosting and High Availability Server Solutions are protected by CDP and the solution is available as an add-on to VPS hosting plans.

Maintaining a minimum of seven full, offsite backups daily of all databases and a local copy every 3 hours, Server Intellect can easily restore any database from up to 7 days prior, or as early as up to 3 hours.
