The selection comes after a six month search, spurred by growing demand for Nexus’ business continuity and disaster recovery solutions. TNG will offer R1Soft CDP as a part of a fully managed backup service to both end customers and its partners.

In its search, The Nexus Group needed to find more than just a powerful backup solution; it needed to find a solution that could manage the initial data transfer better than other options on the market. TNG was therefore attracted to R1Soft CDP’s virtual full backup technology, which requires only one full backup, the initial replica. Further, TNG can complete the first backup at the client’s site, transporting the initial replica to their secure data center.
