R1Soft Launches Continous Data Protection Data Center Console Management Platform

December 19, 2011 (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) - Backup software provider R1Soft announced on Monday that it has launched its Continuous Data Protection Data Center Console, a management platform for large-scale backup installations.

This announcement comes about a week after web hosting provider Qube announced that it now offers R1Soft Continuous Data Protection to provide backup and recovery services to its customers.

R1Soft says the console provides a centralized dashboard for monitoring and administration of backups across up to 100 or more CDP servers. It is compatible with R1Soft's CDP 3.0 Enterprise and Advanced Edition, according to the press release. -- read more
