June 9, 2011 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – R1Soft, developer of cloud backup and disaster recovery software, will demonstrate its Continuous Data Protection (CDP) 3.0 line of backup software to the Asian market for the first time at the inaugural WorldHostingDays Asia (WHD.asia) event. WHD.asia will take place June 9 and June 10 in Bangkok, Thailand and is expected to draw more than 600 attendees from across the continent.

CDP 3.0 is R1Soft’s latest generation of high-performance server backup software. It is designed to address the number one performance challenge posed by backups – disk I/O. To increase server performance and reduce storage requirements, CDP employs R1Soft’s asynchronous replication technology; after the initial CDP replica, CDP efficiently reads and replicates changes to data at the block-level.
