New Superb Internet Managed Offering Features R1Soft CDP Backups

 

Web hosting provider Superb Internet (www.superbhosting.net) has introduced a new "Managed Dedicated Server" offering that features R1Soft's (www.r1soft.com) high-performance Continuous Data Protection technology to bring customers around-the-clock backups.

According to Superb Internet's Tuesday announcement, R1Soft's disk-based data protection software takes point-in-time snapshots at the sector level, and by only recording changes made since the last backup, it lets backups run up to every 15 minutes. Also the bare-metal restore feature, gives Superb Internet users the ability to restore a client's data to any point-in-time snapshot for fast, efficient disaster recovery.
