Drift2 Hosting Deploys R1Soft CDP Backup Solution on All Servers

 

Drift2 Web Services, Inc., a provider of shared and reseller hosting services, announced today it has deployed R1Soft Continuous Data Protection® technology and will offer automatic data backup for all shared and reseller hosting customers at no additional charge.

Customer data will be protected through two separate data backup processes. Hourly backups, retained for 24 hours, will protect databases against data loss or corruption. Drift2 will also run daily backups, retained for 14 days, to protect against catastrophic data loss disasters. Drift2 will fully-manage the new backups.
